Without spoilers (I haven't gotten far enough to spoil anything the Steam page doesn't already clue you in on), you and if you are playing co-op up to three friends mysteriously crawl out of a briefcase to learn that you are in a strange environment. I am old and don't care for resolutions over 1080p, when you grew up on monochrome monitors then CGA for a while, you don't fuss too much on trying to get over 60FPS at 4k or such. I ran pretty much middle of the road graphics wise and do not think I ever dipped below 60 frames per second at 1080p. Still capable of playing the latest games, but not without compromises in a lot of cases. Let's put that aside for the purposes of this review.įirst off as usual I like to give the stats of the machine i played on, an i5-7400 3Ghz, 16 GB RAM, SSD, GeForce 1060 GTX. Yes I am not a lot of fun about ten minutes after watching a film once I start breaking down why this or that would not be possible. I know we are just talking science-fiction movies and in this case a game, but I wanted to explain another reason that I held off play for such a while playing. Pretty much the same reason it is best not to discuss superheroes like Antman or The Atom with me, scientifically speaking there are just so many thinks wrong with the premise that I find it hard to pause my mind and just enjoy with the escapism for a bit. While I had seen Honey, I shrunk the kids in my late teen years I wasn't a huge fan. After a bit over four hours in, I can say that so far the game has been far more of a blast that I thought it would be. So this sale I decided to grab Grounded finally. I own pretty much everyone that I can get my hands on.
I like open world, survival, base building games. Maybe I thought it looked over playful and not serious, but I doubt that was it because I play enough games that really ride the fence in that regard, (looking at you JRPGs in general), I have had my eye on this one since it came out last Autumn but something else always ended up getting my cash first.
